The explaination is in the book "Abhidhama". The book says "jit" co-occurs with "jettasik" of 4 kinds in nature out of 52 jettasiks (actually there are known 4-5 ways to classify "jettasik"). Howevr "karma" is "jettana"=intention jettasik. And Jettana jettasik is a kind of jettasik so called public jettasik which occurs with every "jit". So we are doing karma at all time as long as we live sleep or awake.woody961https://www.blogger.com/profile/15443630247123860428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4746760550568223326.post-13641904380594762632013-02-14T01:15:44.527-05:002013-02-14T01:15:44.527-05:00Meditation often involves an internal effort to se...Meditation often involves an internal effort to self-regulate the mind in some way and can help in clearing the mind and ease many health issues, such as high blood pressure, depression. Buddha said “with your intentions you shape your present and the future.” So you are basically in charge in shaping your future with skilful thoughts, words and actions. Main focus of training in Buddhism is the mind. This is through Meditation. I see this training of Buddhism as a science of the mind. There are lots of neuroscientist see it this way as well. This is why now meditation had become a cutting edge research subject in neuroscience. Here is a latest research study fro Harvard University.
“Meditation’s positive residual effects”: http://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2012/11/meditations-positive-residual-effects/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=fb-wall

May I suggest you three books you can read (From 1 to 3). The books you can order through Amazon or try a local bookstore (like Chapters). I have no past experience with a 'religion' and I'm only eighteen. I'm starting to feel changes in my mindset and the way I think, I become angry easily with annoying classmates, and professors. I feel like I'm missing something in my life, and I honestly feel like its a 'religion' related thought. I love how Buddism is so calm, collected, and level headed. I want to become this. I want to mold my thinking and my ways of life. I believe it would really helpgrowing up become so much easier if I could get a grasp on Buddism. The only problem is I have no idea where to start. My family is christian, but they're not forceful with their beliefs, hence why I never really got into religion. I was wondering if you would mind replying to me and helping me out. You seem like someone who knows what their talking about. (: Thank you ever so much for your time, it means so much to me.

Giselle. giselle36https://www.blogger.com/profile/16098208367638303894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4746760550568223326.post-72553212015109598362012-10-07T16:28:18.769-04:002012-10-07T16:28:18.769-04:00determinism = sciences... They may also give rise to mental proliferation (conceptual proliferation) of the thoughts about the past present and the future. This is a feedback loop back into the mind as mind objects so it can continue as a vicious cycle. There are also thoughts that can be retrieved from memory in mind consciousness back into the mind.
