It was fascinating to read about the benefits of metta bhavana, as I'd not come across research regarding this important kind of Buddhist meditation before. Research such as this illustrates the scientific nature of Buddhist meditation and mindfulness practices, and can only encourage further research and practice of the Buddhadharma.
